I'm Mariah Hudson, a proven community leader running for city council in District 2, North and Northeast Portland. 

Born and raised an Oregonian, I am deeply connected to our communities and optimistic about our future. But Portland isn't working for all. I'm running to help us live up to Portland's promise as the city that works with safe streets, healthy neighborhoods and services residents need to thrive. 

As a public health leader and sustainability champion I have a two-decade record of working with government to enact practical solutions from neighborhood safety to education to climate readiness that improve our communities. On council I'll listen and work tirelessly to support workers, families and businesses, and help people into pathways to recovery and housing.
